I think that the first part regarding the technical part about Image manipulation was extremely confusing to a lot of non CS majors. Even though I had taken CS1315, it was still hard to understand what was going on at the beginning of the course. I believe that it is crucial that the students understand how images are structured and how they are techically manipulated. Thus, the beginning part of the course shouldn't be dropped, but rather revised so that every major can easily understand the concepts. What can be done to make this course more interesting BCN (and other Study Abroad Programs)? I think that the photography competition was a GREAT idea. However I believe that it shoudl have been scheduled at the beginning of the summer term, when everyone was trying to get to know each other, and they had not seen all of Barcelona already. It was definitely a wonderful idea to integrate the spanish and the GT students together.
