Q1 When I try to run a program, it just prints "Permission denied" and hangs.
Include the following line in your .rhosts file.
+@all-cc "username"
where "username" is just ur username without quotes (""). Stampede automatically starts up processing elements on the cluster machines specified though "-spd_config" flag, and hence you need to have rexec permission for those machines.
